Typical Shake Shack in a standalone location in the Stanford Shopping Center parking lot. Burgers are yummy as usual, good for the whole family. A bit expensive.

I had my first ever taste of Shake Shack while I was out in Chicago. The long, endless lines, & the constant hype over this place really got the best of me, making the visit a must. Real talk, I wasn't impressed. Since I was shopping at the mall & was in need of figuring out lunch, I made the decision to give it another go since hot dogs & burgers are a safe food for my picky toddler. Ordering at the counter or via kiosk are offered. More traffic tends to move towards kiosks since that route seems to be the quicker of the two. Seating is available indoors and outdoors but due to SS being so popular, tables are scarce. Be prepared to lurk and hover while you wait for a table to open up. No lie, this place always had more customers than seats actually being offered. Food: Crinkle cut fries are amazing!!! I'm a fan of semi-soggy fries and these babies give me the best of both worlds! They are golden brown, light outer layer of crisp but also a semi soft center- HEAVEN! Burgers are great! With the patties being smooshed on the grill top, it provides you with certain areas being a bit crispy yet still being moist. Hot dogs are decent. There have been a time or two where the dogs were too dry and charred for my toddler to eat. 4 stars! Bonus points because the establishment is pretty clean and so are its bathrooms. I am most definitely a fan!

Good food, fast, great service. Something I had not experienced at Shake Shack before is table service! When we completed our order at the kiosk, it said to take a table number and enter the number. They brought the order to the table. The friendly table service person also offered to refill a drink. The food is always great. Surprise this time is their portabello "burger," a large mushroom cap stuffed with cheese and deep fried. I am a beef fan but this was so good I would order it.

S.S, Eating it cold, if it was delivered. Service: Here is very good. Workers here are super friendly and helpful. They're really keeping this place from turning fully digital. Helping me with a $7c, since I was paying at the cashier with cash. However; there is in-person or self-service, which is amazing to have. Amazing customer service and detail. -This place doesn't have a drive thru, like many fast-food restaurants, but they make up for it by having ahead ordering, with designated parking spots. Where you pick up, on a spot and go. They also do food delivery. It's very convenient and easy. Food; * I wanted to try it cold, to experiment* *TLDR; It's still surprising good.* -Cheese fries, sort of turned into this thick sauce and sorta would be good, if I air fried, but tasted fine. I would definitely try it again with bacon or spicy. I do love the touch of a picking stick, it's a unique addition and used for scraping Shack sauce or Shaq sauce. -Burger, is really fresh, put on ingredient level as In-Out Burger, almost, but really did need that sauce. Smash burgers are really good. It's a tricky thing to cook, since you render the fat out for a flat patty. But, the beef, and fat ratio; is spot on good. Bun is soft and a bit sweet to me. It's not a Wayback burger, it's on an other level, . Fresh vegetables didn't taste raw and gave a good crunch. Really love the multiple food options they have here! For serving, beef, chicken and beef. They serve it all and serves for any time of person. Ambiance; It's nearby the mall, it's a busy place when you're shopping, but there is plenty of seating. The free self-serving water cups are available on tap. It's really a place considers all types of people. Shows to me they don't want you hungry or thirsty, they got you. It's a clean place with full of their color theme pallet. Felt spaced out and easy to hear yourself. The number, I got was 7, which is for the workers to find you. They ask you, afterwards giving you the food, about sauces. I would recommend it, if; it's nearby you. It's a good place to eat at and food tastes great, even cold. The options make me want to come back.

5 stars because the workers were nice and funny. Negative stars because that funnel cake shake is soooooo bad. Like the funnel cake pieces tasted greasy. The shake tasted so bad that I gagged lol. Everyone at the table tried it and it was just not good. Unfortunately they ran out of custard, so I couldn't get another shake. The floats barely had any custard in it, so it was mostly soda. This was just a bad day. Every other time I've come here it's been good.
